The perfect day date.
…maybe go out on an adventure, then back home, cook dinner, then have sex, watch a movie and have sex again.
Exactly.

1. Wait…Ivan REITMAN directed No Strings Attached? Amidst the noise about the stars, how an almost IDENTICAL movie came out within a few months, how incredibly trite a setup, I somehow failed to realize that the guy who fucking directed Ghostbusters made this movie. I…

The mere fact that we get to see Cap and Thor in action (even though they are still photos) together is enough to give even the un-nerdliest of nerds a geekgasm. Anybody else excited for THE AVENGERS?!

Was a good day. No AK’s were used.
It started pretty early. My dad and I are training for the 100Km walk we’re doing for charity (donate here, you know you want to), so we walked from Shore Road to Hengistbury Head, about 7 miles along the beach, then caught the ferry to Mudeford, and walked to Barton-On-Sea which is another I don’t know how many miles, had the most expensive sausage roll in the world, walked back to Hengistbury Head and then followed the river all the way home.
All in all it took us around seven and a half hours to walk about 28 miles, which stands us in good stead for the 100Km walk.
It was, however, one of the most mind-numbingly boring walks I have ever done. All the way there was just along beaches, beaches that gradually filled with more and more people as the day went on. It was very monotonous.
Anyhoo, we got home, got washed, ate dinner and then pretty much left straight away to pick up Kate and her family to go see Harry Potter, which none of us had seen yet as it came out when we were on holiday.
It was amazing. I loved it.
The only problem I had with it was right near the end when Harry walks into the ruined castle, everything is broken, people are trying to clear up the mess. He sees Ron and Hermione, and they leave the great hall, walk out through the demolished courtyard onto the wrecked bridge, where Harry explains that he is the master of the Elder Wand. Ron asks what he’s going to to and Harry fucking snaps the thing?!
Dude, your school is literally falling down. You have the most powerful wand in existence and you don’t think “Hey, maybe I should cast reparo, or something. That would probably be a nice thing to do”? Are you an idiot?!
Also, he doesn’t even fix his own wand, the one that broke when he was attacked in Godric’s Hollow, which happens in the book; it was pretty much the only spell he cast with the Elder Wand.
I really don’t understand when films don’t do stuff like that. It would take literally five seconds to have him fix his wand, and it would make obsessive fans happy.
Obviously, at the cinema we saw the teaser for The Dark Knight Rises, and holy balls I can’t wait for the real trailer to drop. I am so excited.

Yes Please!
Best fake movie.
I don’t know how to feel about this. I really don’t.
Yeah, I’d go see that.
I would watch this. A lot.
